WAS Technology for well and pipeline construction

Cutting by means of the water abrasive suspension (WAS) process is also used in well and pipeline construction. Individually designed and manufactured special manipulators guide the cutting nozzle to carry out horizontal cuts (from inside to out) in pipes of 200-400 mm in diameter. If desired we also provide an auxiliary module for pipes with an internal diameter of 400-600 mm. Jacket holes (vertical cuts) of 50-80 mm in diameter as well as the separation of pipes with a wall thickness of up to 10 mm are possible without problems.

Various application types enable even uneconomic projects and represent an economical alternative to conventional methods on a long-term basis.

WAS technology through the example of the project of the OCHS Bohrgesellschaft (Drilling Company) mbH

We have developed a special manipulator that, in connection with the supplied AMU 700-40 WAS system, enables horizontal and vertical rotation cuts (jacket holes) for the OCHS Bohrgesellschaft (drilling company) mbH in Nuremberg.
