Nuclear Power Stations
The WAS technology has been used in the atomic research power station in Kahl am Main with great success regarding exposure to radiation and costs incurred in the disassembling of the reactor pressure vessel (RPV) and its ancillary equipment.
Fur the use of WAS technology in nuclear power stations we offer our systems in conjunction with cutting services. The following tasks are of particular relevance in this respect:
 | Decommissioning tasks operated remotely in the “hot zone” in air and underwater
| | Disassembling of reactor pressure vessels with their ancillary equipment such as the core shroud, thermal shield, carrier elements, control rods, heat exchangers and large components
| | Provision of water cleaning plants for the filtering out of abrasive materials from the WAS cutting jet during underwater work |

 | Demolition of the VAK Kahl
| | Generator disassembly at Würgassen
|

 | Bridge manipulator
